INTRODUCTION:
The program is made for persons that want to go and visit the Huaraz area, called also Cordillera Blanca. Chavin de Huantar, considered the Mother Culture of the Andean Civilization is located in the Conchucos valley a few hours away from Huaraz.   Also the visit is complemented with the tours to Llanganuco and Puyas Raymondi, located in the National Park Huascaran.
The trip is made on local transportation for the arrival and on the tours in Tourism Buses with a guide. The accommodation is in a 2** Stars Hostel. The meals are on your own.

Description of the Program:

Night departure from Lima to Huaraz on Bus (08 hrs. ride).
Note: If you like to travel during the day there will be an extra charge of $40US.

Day 1.- Tour to the Lagoon of Llanganuco (3,850 mts.), located at 86 kms., from Huaraz, in the sector of Llanganuco in the National Park Huascarán, surrounded by exotic vegetation and high mountains covered by snow, such as the majestic Huascarán and Huandoy. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.

Day 2.- Trip to the Archaeological Center of Chavín of Huantar, located in the town of Chavín (3,100 mts.), where you will visit the Square Plaza, the Choquechinchay, the Doorway of the Falcons, The Lanzón of Chavín and the system of underground galleries as the Labyrinths, etc. and also the new Museum of Chavin. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.

Day 3.- Tour to the south part of the National Park Huascaran to see the Puya Raymondi the "Biggest flower in the World", gets to measure 12 meters high. The tour continues to the base of the Pasto Ruri Glacier, where you can take photos at its side seeing the effects of the global warming has done to it. Return to Huaraz. Night bus to Lima or Trujillo.
