INTRODUCTION:
Trek this ancient trail, seeing temples and ruins along a paved trail with bridges, tunnels and stairs. The approach over the mountain passes and changes of vegetation with a great variety of Orchids on the way to Machu Picchu, a jewel of the past; makes this trip unforgettable. This trek is made on a Pool Group (Shared Group).

Description of the Program:

MACHU PICCHU INCA TRAIL
4 DAYS - 3 NIGHTS PROGRAM

Day 01.- CUSCO / KM 82/ HUAYLLABAMBA
Early in the morning, you will be pickup from your hotel and transferred on a bus up to Km. 82, were the trek start. Breakfast in Ollantaytambo. Briefing. The walk goes along the Urubamba river visiting the archeological site of Llactapata, going up and passing the Cusíchaca river were it can be seen (if the weather is clear) the Cordillera Oriental, specially the Veronica peak. Lunch. The trek continues, seeing terraces, observing villages and the river channeled from the Inca time that descends of the snowy Salkantay. Arriving to Huayllabamba. Camp. Dinner.

Day 02.- HUAYLLABAMBA / PACAYMAYO
Breakfast. Starts the ascension to the Warmiwañusca pass (4200 mts.) from the base it is possible to make it with 3 or 4 stops, in one of them we will eat lunch. From the pass, the trail goes down, descending to the valley of Pacaymayo, were you will observe deep valleys with dense vegetation and mountains with snow arriving to the camp. Dinner.

Day 03.- PACAYMAYO / PHUYUPATAMARCA (or WIÑAYHUAYNA)
Breakfast. Ascension to the second pass (3860 mts.). Arriving to the archeological centers of Runkuraqay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, passing by the Yanacocha Lake, enjoying the sub tropical vegetation, visiting Phuyupatamarca. Lunch. Continues the trek and we will descend to the 2,700 meters above sea level. Camp in Phuyupatamarca or Wiñayhuayna. Dinner.

Day 04.- MACHU PICCHU
Real early in the morning, breakfast. Starting the trek, arriving after approximately two hours to the Inti-Punku, were you will have this panoramic sightseeing of Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu. Guided visit in Machu Picchu. Lunch in Aguas Calientes. Return by train to Cusco and transfer to Hotel.
